株式会社丸十が手掛ける 「空気と絹」から作られた着物。
着物地に「POM（ポム）繊維」を繊細な伝統技術で織り込んでいます。POM繊維とはCO2と水素から作る合成樹脂を利用した糸。絹は古来より捨てるところの無いサステナブル素材で、美容効果も期待できます。表面はポップなビリケン柄で、デザインは大阪文化服装学院の学生が担当。伝統と新しさと未来が出会うことで、次世代へものづくりのバトンを託しています。
(Summary)
This Kimono is a traditional Japanese garment made by ‘silk and air’. ‘POM (polyoxymethylene) fiber‘ is synthetic resin made from components in the air, woven by delicate traditional techniques. Silk has historically been sustainable as there are no unnecessary parts, and it has also been effective for beauty. The patterns are designed by the young students. Harmonizing traditional and modern techniques, the baton of manufacturing will be passed to the next generation.
