三恵メリヤス株式会社の綿生地をゆっくりと編んでいる機械。生地は大阪文化服装学院の学生たちがデザインしました。最新の機械よりも編むスピードが遅く、今では日本の一部でしか使われていません。
しかし、小さい電力で動くことができるので、太陽光で生まれたわずかな電気を活用することが出来ます。古い機械が今では最先端をゆく環境にやさしい技術に生まれ変わっています。
(Summary)
This loopwheel knitting machine was used to knit the cloth designed by the students. Compared to the new machines, the pace is slow and is used only in limited places in Japan. On the other hand, it can move with less electricity, using solar energy. This made the traditional machines become advanced eco-friendly machines. Let`s take a moment to rethink how our future clothes should be made.
