音と映像に合わせて“香り”も感じる未来の暮らし。目印のある場所に立つと、糸などで作られた「果実」を模した造形物から映像に合わせた香りを体験できます。
従来の技術では、香りを切り替えると匂いが混ざったり、前の香りが残って次の香りを妨げるなどの課題があり、リアルタイムで香りを変えることは困難とされてきました。
これを可能にしたのが、0.1秒単位で香りを届けるデジタル香りコントロール装置と、最初から最後まで同じ香りが続くシングルノートという調香技術です。
シングルノートでは使用できる成分が限定され、豊かな表情を示す香りを創るには熟練の調香師の腕が必要とされます。
映像には、ファッション業界の未来へのメッセージを込めました。捨てられたものが新たに生まれ変わり、再び私たちのもとへ戻ってくる――。そんな素敵な未来を描いた映像です。

(Summary)
In this video, you can experience future life by enjoying scents alongside sounds and motion pictures. By standing in the designated place, you can experience a scent coming from a ‘fruit’ made by thread.
Under the conventional technology, when scents were switched, the previous scent still existed and prevented the next scent which made it difficult to change scents on real time. What made this possible is the digital scent control technology which can deliver scents in 0.1 seconds and perfuming technology called ‘single notes’. ‘Single notes’ can only correspond to a limited number of ingredients, so a skilled perfumer will be required to create a fragrance that shows a rich range of expressions. The fragrance will express not only the magnificence of Japan’s nature, but also words that can touch your heart, traditional craftsmanship and casual moments of everyday life. Such beauty will be expressed through fragrance, which is a special part of fashion; to express oneself and to enrich our hearts in the future.
